Are the 3D alembic dust files seamless loops?                                                                                                                                                    

No, none of the dust files loop at this time.

Can I control the dust speed?                                                                                                                                                                             

Sorry, but due to limitations beyond our control, you cannot slow down our alembic dust without introducing "choppiness". This is due to the particle system being made of individual objects and not a single changing topology (which you can slow down without artifacts). We hope that this is someday solved by either Insydium or Cinema 4D. 

This is why we offer so many options with dust moving quickly and some that move more slowly.
