How to use Area Light Maps in Unreal Engine
- Start Greyscalegorilla Studio and download any Area Light Map texture you would like to use.
- Click and drag the downloaded Area Light Map thumbnail from Greyscalegorilla Studio user-interface to the Unreal Engine Content Browser.
- Click "Quickly add to Project" button and select Lights > Rect Light from the menu.
- After adding you will see it on The Outliner. Now you can drag and drop the Area Light texture file to Source Texture slot.
- Your Rect Light reflection will be updated.
