City Kit Installation Guide (R20-S24)

Windows

  1. Find your “Program Files/MAXON/CINEMA 4D/library/browser/“ Folder.
  2. If there is not a "browser" folder, create one.
  3. Remove any older copies of "CityKit” from your library/browser folder.
  4. Copy the folder "CityKit” from inside your "Manual Install Inside" the folder into the browser folder.
  5. Restart Cinema 4D.

Render Farm / Team Render Installation:

  1. Remove any older copies of "CityKit” from your plugins folder.
  2. Find your “Program Files/MAXON/Team Render Client/library/browser/“ Folder.
  3. If there is not a "browser" folder, create one.
  4. Remove any older copies of "CityKit” from your library/browser folder.
  5. Copy the folder "CityKit” from inside your "Manual Install Inside" the folder into the browser folder.
  6. Restart Cinema 4D.

OSX

Standard Installation:

  1. Find your "Applications/Maxon Cinema 4D" Folder.
  2. If there is not a "browser" folder, create one.
  3. Remove any older copies of "CityKit” from your library/browser folder.
  4. Copy the folder "CityKit” from inside your "Manual Install Inside" the folder into the browser folder.
  5. Restart Cinema 4D.

Render Farm / Team Render Installation:

  1. Remove any older copies of "CityKit” from your plugins folder.

  3. If there is not a "browser" folder, create one.
