Light Kit Pro 3 Installation Guide

This installation guide refers ONLY to the perpetual licensed Light Kit Pro 3 plugin, which is no longer available for purchase separately. Windows

Standard Installation:

  1. Remove any older copies of "Light Kit Pro 3” from inside your plugins folder.
  2. Double-click the "Light Kit Pro 3.1 PC Installer.exe" file and follow the instructions.
  3. Restart Cinema 4D.

Manual Installation:

  1. Find your “Program Files/MAXON/CINEMA 4D/plugins/“ Folder.
  2. If there is not a "plugins" folder, create one.
  3. Remove any older copies of "Light Kit Pro 3” from your plugins folder.
  4. Copy the folder "Light Kit Pro 3” from inside your "Manual Install Inside" the folder into the plugins folder.
  5. Restart Cinema 4D.

Render Farm / Team Render Installation:

  1. Remove any older copies of "Light Kit Pro 3” from your plugins folder.
  2. Find your “Program Files/MAXON/Team Render Client/plugins/“ Folder.
  3. If there is not a "plugins" folder, create one.
  4. Remove any older copies of "Light Kit Pro 3" from your plugins folder.
  5. Copy the folder "Light Kit Pro 3” from inside your "Manual Install Inside" the folder into the plugins folder.
  6. Restart Cinema 4D.

OSX

Standard Installation:

  1. Remove any older copies of "Light Kit Pro 3” from inside your plugins folder.
  2. Double-click the "Light Kit Pro 3.1 MAC Installer.pkg" file and follow the instructions.
  3. Restart Cinema 4D.

Manual Installation:

  1. Find your "Applications/Maxon Cinema 4D R23/plugins" Folder.
  2. If there is not a "plugins" folder, create one.
  3. Remove any older copies of "Light Kit Pro 3” from your plugins folder.
  4. Copy the folder "Light Kit Pro 3” from inside your "Manual Install Inside" the folder into the plugins folder.
  5. Restart Cinema 4D.

Render Farm / Team Render Installation:

  1. Remove any older copies of "Light Kit Pro 3" from your plugins folder.
  2. Find your "Applications/Maxon Cinema 4D R23/plugins" Folder.
  3. If there is not a "plugins" folder, create one.
  4. Remove any older copies of "Light Kit Pro 3” from your plugins folder.
  5. Copy the folder "Light Kit Pro 3" from inside your "Manual Install Inside" the folder into the browser folder.
  6. Restart Cinema 4D.
