Is the Cinema 4D HUB going away?

No, for Cinema 4D users of Arnold, Octane and Redshift, the C4D HUB is the best way to get your Plus assets and Plugins. For other DCCs and Renderers, you should use the new Online Library.

Is this an extra charge?

No, all Active Plus Members get access to everything, including the all new Online Library and the new Material Importer Plugins.

Are there any Limits or Credits with this new system?

No, Active Plus members get access to EVERYTHING in the Online Library on day one. Learn more about our licensing here.

What DCCs are supported? Do I need to purchase a different Plus subscription for each DCC?

No, Plus is compatible with all major 3D software – all in one subscription! For ease of use, we’ve created material importers specifically for C4D, Blender, Houdini, and Unreal Engine. For other software, please download any and all assets from our Online Library. Our textures are industry standard PBR, our HDRIs are standard EXR files, and our models are standard FBX files. All of our assets will work anywhere PBR, EXR and FBX files are supported.

Can I apply the material I've already downloaded through the C4D HUB with these new material importer plugins?

No, the new Online Library is built from the ground-up to be more compatible with all 3D apps. So, you will need to re-download your favorite assets from the Online Library to use in other DCCs.

How do I install the new Material Importer Plugins?

I'm a returning C4D customer who just bought a new Subscription, but the HUB is not working, what do I do?

Please uninstall and reinstall your HUB to refresh your licenses, and you can find out how to do both in our Cinema 4D HUB Installation Guides article.

If your issue still persists after doing so, please contact support, so we can re-sync your Subscription for you.

I'm a brand new Cinema 4D customer, and the HUB is not working, what do I do?

I'm having other issues with logging into the HUB, what do I do?

If you are having another issue outside of the two scenarios described above, please do a fresh install of the HUB. Please take a look at our Cinema 4D HUB Installation Guides to see how to uninstall and re-install the HUB. If your issue persists, please contact support.
