Guide to the Customer Portal

In this article, we will be walking through how to get to your Customer Portal, and explore the many capabilities inside of it. Here you can find how to change any account information, turn on and off Auto Renew and more!

Where To Find The Customer Portal

When you are logged in to the Greyscalegorilla website, just click on the gear icon at the top of every page.

Managing Your Subscription

If you are an Active Subscriber, go to your Customer Portal and click on the "Manage Your Subscription" button. Once there, you can make changes and updates to your Subscription, as described in the steps below.

How to Deactivate Auto Renew / Cancel Your Subscription

If you do not want to be charged for a renewal order, select the "Deactivate Auto Renew" button. You will have access to your subscription until the subscription end date. Your subscription will NOT automatically renew after you select "Deactivate Auto Renew".

If you accidentally cancel your Subscription by clicking "Deactivate Auto Renew", don't worry! You can simply select the "Activate Auto Renew" button that appears once a Subscription is cancelled, and it will go back to being a recurring Subscription.

How to Update Payment Method

If you'd like to change the card related to the subscription, simply select the "Update Payment Card" button.

How to Renew Early

If you'd like to renew your subscription early because you have received a promo code, choose the "Renew Now" option, and it will take you to the checkout page, and make sure to enter your coupon in the promo code field.

How to Change Your Subscription Term

If you are a Monthly Subscriber and rather switch to Annual, and vice versa, click the "Change Subscription Term" button, as shown below and follow the instructions.

How to Get a Receipt of Purchase

If you'd like to get the invoice of your Order, scroll down until you see the "Related Orders" section. Next to each order there is an "Invoice" button, which will allow you to download the invoice.

How to Get An Invoice with a VAT Included?

If you need your company's VAT information added to your invoice, please add it to the second address line during checkout or on your Customer Portal's Contact Information section, where you can change your billing address. (See below for instructions)

If you have already gone through the checkout process and need your first Order's invoice updated with the correct VAT information, please contact the Support Team and provide the proper information. During that process, we can also include it to your billing address for you, so all future invoices include the VAT information as well.

Updating Your Account Details & Preferences

Here we will be going over anything in your account that is outside of your Subscription, including changing your billing address, changing your passwords, and more.

How to Change Your Billing Address

To update your billing address, go to the Contact Information tab on the lefthand side, and you will see an option to "Edit Billing Address".

How to Change Or Add Payment Methods to Your Account

To change or add a new credit/debit card, go to the Payment Methods tab. Here you can delete old cards, or add new ones. (Your card's last four digits will appear, however for documentation purposes the example has been blotted out).

How to Change Your Name & Display Name

Go to the Account Details tab of the Customer Portal to change either your name and your display name. Your display name is the one that will be used on your account and it will default to being your first and last name. Make sure to select the "Save Changes" button after making changes.

How to Join the Greyscalegorilla Newsletter

If you'd like to stay up to date on our products, new tutorials, and more, you can join our newsletter via your Account Details. Scroll down to the Email Update section where you can enable our emails.

How to Update Your Email Address

To update your email addres, go to the Account Details tab of the Customer Portal. Scroll down until you see the "Update Email Address" section. You will need to enter your password in order to update the email on your account.

Scroll to the last section of the Account Details tab, as seen below.

Password Requirements: Must consist of 12 characters, including one special character, (for example, ! or ?)

How to Access Plus Downloads

We have a quick way to access the Plus Stock Assets, which is through the Downloads tab of the Customer Portal, which will link you directly to our main downloads page.
